This course is designed to meet the requirements of the revised Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) and Guidance: Legionnaire's disease: The control of Legionella bacteria in water systems, and the technical guidance HSG274 Part 2: The control of Legionella in hot and cold water systems (HSG274).
The level 2 Plumbing Foundation requires the completion of centre based knowledge and practical assessments designed to provide individuals with the basic skills and understanding to allow a progression route to completion of the apprenticeship in Plumbing and Heating, Domestic Heating or L3 Plumbing Foundation qualification.
The level 1 Plumbing Foundation requires the completion of centre based knowledge and practical assessments designed to provide individuals with the basic skills and understanding to allow a progression route to completion of the Level 2 Plumbing Foundation or an apprenticeship.
This course covers the requirements under Building Regulations Part G3 for both Unvented & Vented systems. This is ideal for candidates wishing to work unsupervised on Unvented Domestic & Small Commercial Hot Water Storage Systems. This also enables self-certification of your installations. If you are thinking of becoming a Solar Domestic Water Heating Installer, this course is a pre-requisite.

A refresher course covering all of the safety fundamentals of work on potable water supplies, etc. This is required if you work on potable water supplies, including water heaters and combination boilers.
