Today we celebrated International Day of Charity to honour the important work that charities around the world do as well as raising money for the College Charity, The Air Ambulance for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland area.

Fundraising activities in The Drum included a sweet sale and Tin Can Alley!  Staff and students became very competitive trying to knock all the tin cans down and one member of staff even managed to knock all the cans down with just two bean bags!

Staff were also invited to ‘Guess the name of the Baby’ with staff sending in photos of themselves as a baby.

As a result of all our fundraising activities we raised a total of £40.00 for The Air Ambulance and we will hold further events throughout the year for this worthy cause.
