Between 3 – 9 February we will be celebrating National Apprenticeship Week in College.
‘Look Beyond’ has been announced as the theme for the 13th annual National Apprenticeship Week 2020. Co-ordinated by the National Apprenticeship Service, the ‘Look Beyond’ themed week will celebrate the diversity and value that apprenticeships bring to employers, apprentices and communities across England today. From highlighting the breadth of industries and roles available to the talent and energy apprentices bring into the workplace.
Throughout the week we will be celebrating our apprentices achievements and will host the following activities
Tuesday 4 February - Employer Event
We will be welcoming local employers into College at 13:00 for a networking lunch. Then from 14:00 - 16:00 employers will be on hand to speak to our students about apprenticeship opportunities. Local schools are also welcome to bring students from Year 10&11 to this event.
Wednesday 5 February - Options Event
In order to help our students understand the full range of learning opportunities that are available to them we will be welcoming into College Universities, local colleges, the Armed Forces and the Police.
Thursday 6 February - Engineering Apprenticeship Event
Our apprenticeship team will be attending this event organised by Leicester Employment Hub and taking place at City Hall in Leicester from 14:30 - 17:00.
Saturday 8 February - College Open Day
Our Apprenticeship Team will be available between 10:00 - 13:00 to talk to you about apprentinceships. The whole college will also be open enabling you to see for yourself our fantastic facilities, try your hand at one of our taster activities, discuss your options with our friendly and knowledgeable course tutors and get a feel for everything we have on offer.
