Stephenson College will give each student aged 16-18 attending a full-time study programme, who lives over 3 miles away, £100 towards their transport costs.

Free shuttle bus service
Stephenson College operates a free shuttle bus service from its Coalville campus to Coalville town centre during term time.
Monday to Friday 8:00 am until 10:00 am 4:15 pm until 5:15 pm

Midland Classic now operates a service between Burton, Newhall, Swadlincote, Woodville, Ashby and Stephenson College.
The route 9 departs from Burton at 7:45am and arrives at Stephenson College at 8:45am. The return departure leaves college at 4:45pm.
The following fares apply:

- Student Weekly Saver: £12 (7 consecutive days)
- Student 4-Weekly Saver: £40 (28 consecutive Days)

Students living in Leicestershire, more than 3 miles from catchment school/college, aged 16, 17 or 18 on 1st September 2018, can apply for Post 16 transport assistance through Leicestershire County Council (LCC) - Leicestershire County Council (LCC) website
Lockable Cycle Pods are available to securely store bicycles. A refundable £10 deposit is required to cover the cost of the padlock.
Students and staff are encouraged to cycle to College, as this can help keep people fit and is better for the environment. The local area now has ‘share the space’ cycle paths.
