As a Lead Adult Care Worker you will make a positive difference to someone’s life when they are faced with physical, practical, social, emotional or intellectual challenges. You will be expected to exercise judgement and take appropriate action to support individuals to maintain their independence, dignity and control. The apprenticeship is designed to enable you to provide leadership, guidance and direction at the frontline of care delivery.

Health & Social Care Diploma Level 2 - Full Time
This is predominantly a coursework-based qualification with two written exams. The units cover basic health and social care topics to prepare you for a career in a Health and Social Care setting.

Health & Social Care Extended Diploma Level 3 (Year 1) - Full Time
This two year course provides a thorough background for employment, training and education in a wide range of Health and Social Care professions, such as Nursing, Physiotherapy, Radiography, Care Home. It places an emphasis on the vocational aspects. Work experience, visits and vocationally qualified staff combine to provide an interesting but challenging programme. There is 200 hours of work placement included in this course.

Introduction to Health & Social Care & Young People Diploma Level 1 - Full Time
This course provides a broad introduction to aspects of the Health and Social Care and Early Years sectors. There is no requirement for work placement; students will be prepared for progression to Level 2 through classroom activities, visits and guest speakers.
