Our courses are delivered in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere at our purpose built facilities in Coalville. The centre is easily accessible via nearby motorway and A roads with free on-site parking facilities. We are very competitively priced and we do not charge VAT so there are no additional hidden charges. Lunch and refreshments are included onsite at our spacious café.

Boiler Fault Finding

This course is suitable for both experienced installation engineers and new engineers to the industry who wish to improve their knowledge of components within boilers. The course includes correct and safe use of multi-meters using industry standard test equipment. You will be able to trace and repair faults in all types of boiler saving time and money.

BPEC Gas Foundation

The BPEC Gas Foundation provides a route for a career in the gas industry for candidates who do not hold qualifications necessary (but have industry experience) to qualify to undertake assessments under the Accredited Certification Scheme for Individual Gas Fitting Operatives (ACS). A period of on-the-job training is required to enable progression to ACS assessments.

Commercial Gas Changeover From Domestic To Commercial CODN CO1 and ICPN1 Assessment

CoDNC01 (assessment only) is for operatives who hold their CCN1 Core Domestic Gas Safety and wish to carry out gas work in commercial buildings. This includes ICPN1 - Installation of commercial pipework - This allows you to FirstFix pipework only.

Commercial Gas CODNCO1+ ICPN1 Training & Assessment

CODNC01 is for operatives who hold their CCN1 Core Domestic Gas Safety and wish to carry out gas work in commercial installations. This also includes ICPN1- Installation of Commercial Pipe-work. This allows you to install first fix pipe-work only.

Commercial Gas Core Limited Scope Pipe Fitter COCNPI1LS Training and Assessment

This course provides operatives with knowledge and skills relating to safety regulations, procedures and British Standards which must be applied when working on gas installations. This training and assessment is for operatives who install and commission commercial pipework only. ICPN1 is also included. To be able to test & purge the install, it must be complemented by either TPCP1 or TCPC1A.

Commercial Gas Heating Appliances CIGA1/CORT1/CDGA1 Training and Assessment

This training and assessment covers the installation and commissioning of the three main groups of commercial appliances: CORT1 Radiant Tube & Plaque Heaters (flued and flue-less); CDGA Direct Fired Gas Appliances (flueless warm air heaters); CIGA Indirect Fired Gas Appliances (boilers & warm air heaters incorporating a heat exchanger).

Commercial Gas ICAE1LS (Training & Assessment)

First fix commercial appliances. This is a limited scope certificate for non gas competent engineers to install commercial gas appliances, including connection pipework, with connecting to a live supply

Commercial Gas ICPN1LS (Assessment Only)

This limited scope assessment is suitable for pipe fitters who install natural gas pipe work up to 150mm dia. and do not connect to a live gas supply.

Commercial Gas TPCP1 Training and Assessment

This course covers all of the fundamentals of testing and purging commercial gas systems and is for experienced operatives who wish to undertake tightness testing and purging of installation pipe-work exceeding 1m in volume, up to 16 Bar operating pressure with unlimited pipe size diameters to IGEM UP1 criteria.

Commercial Gas TPCP1A Training and Assessment

This course covers all of the fundamentals of testing and purging commercial gas systems and is for experienced operatives who wish to undertake tightness testing and purging of installation pipe-work less than 1m in volume, up to 40 mbar operating pressure with a supply pressure not exceeding 75 mbar with pipe size diameters up to 150mm to IGEM UP1A criteria.

Domestic Gas 2 Appliances - Initial Assessment Only

This assessment is for those who work on domestic gas appliances and wish to extend their scope by adding two further appliances. You can choose two from: CENWAT (Boilers and Water Heaters) (please note you also need CPA1 with this option), HTR1 (Fires) (please note you also need CPA1 with this option), CKR1 (Cookers), WAT1 (Water Heaters), DAH1 (Warm Air Heaters), LAU1 (Tumble Dryers), MET2 (Domestic Gas Meters).

Domestic Gas 1 Appliance - Initial Assessment and Training

This training and assessment is for those wishing to add an appliance type to their core CCN1 qualification in domestic gas work. It consists of a half day training course which covers all assessed areas, followed by a half day assessment. After you have received your certificate, you may work unsupervised on that type of gas appliance. This course is for operatives who feel they have the required skill set to achieve their assessments without prior training. For operatives who need to replace their current ACS Certificates which are nearing the end of their five year period of validation or are out of date by up to 12 months.

This course is for operatives who feel they have the required skill set to achieve their assessments without prior training. For operatives who need to replace their current ACS Certificates which are nearing the end of their five year period of validation or are out of date by up to 12 months.

Domestic Gas Changeover Commercial To Domestic COCDN1 Training and Assessment

A course and assessment to enable operatives who currently perform commercial natural gas work to expand their range of work into the domestic field. Having obtained this qualification, you will then be able to apply for the domestic appliance assessments that relate to your work to enable you to work unsupervised in domestic property.

This course covers the conversion from natural gas to liquid petroleum gas.

Domestic Gas Core CCN1 Initial Training & Assessment

A course covering all of the safety fundamentals of Domestic Natural Gas work aimed at preparing you for CCN1 Assessment. This is to provide you with the skills to be competent to work on gas installations. This will allow you to register on the Gas Safe Register. The training is over five days with two days assessments. This slightly longer option is aimed at operatives who may have been absent from Gas work for some time or may prefer a little extra time to study their prior knowledge and gain up-to-date criteria and regulations. This is the first Domestic Natural Gas ACS qualification that you must achieve before any others may be taken.

Domestic Gas Core CCN1 Training & Re-Assessment

This course is for those who need to replace their current ACS certificates nearing the end of their five year period of validity. A refresher course covering all of the safety fundamentals of domestic natural gas work, which will refresh prior knowledge, up-date you with current and new regulations and prepare you for reassessment. Up to three appliance categories may be re-assessed in the two days assessment time allowed.

Energy Efficiency Part L Level 3

This one day Part L Energy Efficiency course is focused on providing plumbers, gas engineers and renewable energy installers with knowledge around energy efficiency in the home relating to heating systems. Our energy efficiency training is mainly focused on Part L building regulations and will enable you to provide advice on heating systems including boiler sizing and the use of the correct heating controls.

This knowledge will allow you to advise customers if they need to upgrade any part of their system to meet the Part L requirements. It will also enable you to self-certify your own work.
