Apprenticeship Standard Installation Electrician/Maintenance Electrician - Electrotechnical - Level 3

This course is an Apprenticeship in Electrical Installations. The course will cover: Health and Safety in Building Services Engineering, Principles of Electrical Science, Electrical Installations Technology, Installation of Wiring Systems and Enclosures, Understand How to Communicate with Others within Building Services Engineering.

Electrical Installations Intermediate Diploma Level 2 - Full Time

This qualification allows the learner to acquire knowledge and craft skills of electrical installation. It does not require occupational evidence from the workplace, so is suitable for learners who currently do not work within the electrical Industry (but may wish to do so). It will give the learner an opportunity to practice and be assessed in a secure environment on the installation of wiring systems together with the relevant theory of electrical installation. The learner has the opportunity to utilise the IET On-Site Guide with some of the units and also acquire the knowledge of electrical science and principles. This qualification is for: - learners who currently do not work within the electrical industry (but may wish to do so) - those who wish to acquire new knowledge and skills.

Portable Appliance Testing Level 3

This course is aimed at those with administrative responsibilities for the maintenance of electrical equipment and for those undertaking practical inspection and testing of electrical equipment. The course can be delivered in College or at the customer's own venue (a visit will be necessary to ensure suitable facilities for delivery requirements). Successful candidates will be awarded a nationally recognised qualification at Level 3.
